Air Trump's Press Conferences
The Financial Package to help Americans meet their bills also includes $75,000,000 for NPR and PBS. This money should be used for the American public, however, it is in the bill that passed the Senate and is awaiting approval in the US House. NPR, in some markets, is refusing to air Trump's Press Conferences. They are claiming that he is spreading lies. This whole issue has brought the worst out in many, as well as the best. In addition, Rachel Maddow has also called for a halt of Trump's press conferences on television.

It has come to our attention that you have decided not to air or broadcast President Trump's Press Conferences. Oh no, that will not work. Trump just signed into law the CARES Act that included $75,000,000 for you and PBS to stay afloat. You may think that does not include your station, but, unfortunately and in our opinion, shamefully, it does. That huge amount of money could have gone for ventilators, masks, PPEs and other life preserving goods. However, it is going to NRP, among others to keep you live.
In addition, President Trump is still the Commander in Chief, at least until the election in November, 2020. As the President, he is still making the decisions, along with the COVID 19 Task Force for the American People. As such, your hypocrisy is rabid and needs to stop. You NEED to air the Task Force Press Conferences. This is a time when we need to come together and support each other. You have chosen instead to distance and tear us apart.
Wake up and be grateful that you will be able to continue broadcasting and broadcast President Trump's Task Force Press Conferences.

Trump just signed into law the CARES Act, passed unanimously by the Senate and the US House. The Government has come together to provde relief for us. We want to hear from the very top, what the latest information is. While you may be broadcasting information from your pundits, they are not the ones making the decisions about our health, safety and well being. the President, along with the COVID19 Task force is.
